Mobile Suit Gundam 00's latest ending - Yuna Ito - Trust You

For fans of Gundam 00, the latest television anime of Sunrise's long-running Gundam franchise, here is the latest ending music to the second season of an already fantastic show.

Here is the translated lyrics:

Flowers sway in the wind as if dancing
So that the rain moistens the earth
Even though this world is alive, coming closer together
Why do people hurt each other?
Why do partings come about?

Even if you go far away
You're still always right in the middle of my heart
While they remain completely buried by that kind smile
Even if I feel pain
In fragments of you that I held, because we're still connected
I believe that we can meet again
I'm waiting for your love

I love you, I trust you
I want you to share your loneliness with me
I love you, I trust you
Even in light, even in darkness
Because we're together, we're able to believe in each other
Please don't leave anymore

Who saw the end of the world?
Who announces the end of the journey?
Even though it's a long night and the answer can't be seen now,
I want you to move on on the road you believe in
Because from this point forth, the light is waiting for you

Even now, the song you taught me
Still remains within my heart
And echos along with that friendly voice
The overflowing tears of my feeling
Run over my warm cheek
Become strong, ne
If we connect with each other
I'm always by your side

I love you
I trust you
The tears I shed are for your sake
I love you
I trust you
You taught me love
I love you
I trust you
No matter if you walk on the wrong path,
I'll be beside you!

I love you
I trust you
I want you to share your loneliness with me
I love you
I trust you
Even in light, even in darkness
I love you
I trust you
Even in sadness, even in happiness
I love you
I trust you
I want to protect you completely

No matter if you're walking on the wrong path
I'll be beside you!
Because we're together, we're able to believe in each other
Please don't leave anymore

The Storm Riders (Anime)

Storm Riders: Clash of the Evils is a new animated feature film based on the Chinese comic book series Fung Wan (or Tin Ha) by Ma Wing Shing. It was a pretty popular comic book series back in the 90s. There was also an actual movie release called "The Storm Riders" back in 1998 which was directed by famous Hong Kong actor/director Andrew Lau.

For the plot, this is a sequel to the story featuring two legendary and adventurous characters, Wind & Cloud. The Sword Worship Villa, the world's top sword maker, witnessed the bloody execution of its people due to allegations of conspiring to start a rebellion. The young master of the villa, Ao Jue, is the only survivor of the execution. In order to complete the "Jue" Sword, forged by generations of his family, Ao Jue swears to attack Tin Ha Wui and battle with Wind & Cloud in order to obtain the blood of the Flame Kylin which can unleash the power of the sword. With Wind's blood containing the blood of the Flame Kylin, he becomes the prime target in Ao Jue's plan of completing the sword.

Anyway check out the trailer below.

Just a note that there will be a sequel to the live action movie called "The Storm Warriors" and it's directed by the Pang Brothers which is set for a 2009 release in Hong Kong.

Facebook Privacy

Almost everyone is on Facebook these days. Facebook is a great service which brings old friends and acquaintances together. It also provides excellent facility for uploading media content such as videos and pictures on to their site which in turn can be shared with others. With 175 million users I’m sure no one takes notices of Facebook’s Terms and Conditions.

In their Terms and Conditions, for every media (video, pictures etc) you upload on to their website you are relinquishing your rights to those contents giving Facebook total control of what they want to do with it. They can sell it; publish it any way of form without requiring any consent from you, AT ALL! So why are many people still doing it?! I think for most they don’t really care about it.

Check out news articles posted here and here when Facebook decided to change their Terms and Conditions (better for them).

This is the main reason why I’ve stopped uploading any media content to Facebook. If I upload something somewhere and anyone who wants to use it for marketing or literally anything I do expect some form of royalty or credit to where the media was obtained from. It is your right!

Tranzfers - Cheaper and Faster way of sending money

Tranzfers offers a cheaper and faster way of sending money. Using Tranzfers is a cinch with their simple four step secure deposit service. Tranzfers allows you to send as little as GB£50, A$100, NZ$100, CA$100, €100, HK$500, SG$70 and SEK 500.

You simply deposit the amount you wish to tranzfer into their account. They inform you when when it has arrived, give you a competitive rate and then deposit the converted funds into the account that you nominate.

Very simple to use and I have been using their service for almost two years now and have been great all along. Worthwhile if you are going to be sending money abroad.

Naughty Microsoft

Seems like Microsoft has been naughty... Doing things without your permission and caught out. Dang...

Microsoft / Windows .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 update (KB951847) will install a new extension, specifically .NET Framework Assistant 1.0, to your Firefox browser, if you have it installed, without user consent. Furthermore, to make things worse, this extension cannot be uninstalled.

I don't have a clue what this extention does but for those that are abit paranoid about this update especially for Firefox (a non MS product) go ahead to this website to find out how to uninstall it.

Objectified by Gary Hustwit

Looking forward to this documentary by Gary Hustwit, the director of "Helvetica", the famous typeface.

Objectified is a feature-length independent documentary about industrial design. it’s a look at the creativity at work behind everything from toothbrushes to tech gadgets. it’s about the people who re-examine, re-evaluate and re-invent our manufactured environment on a daily basis. it’s about personal expression, identity, consumerism, and sustainability. it’s about our relationship to mass-produced objects and, by extension, the people who design them.

Snowing in London and in February

While most of us looked forward to the snowing on Sunday evening, I didn’t that it would last till yesterday evening. I mean usually when it does actually snow in London (very rare), it would only have lasted for maybe a few hours (snowfall of 1-2cm), then would just melt away in the next few hours. Well on Sunday night it started snowing and it snowed heavily. By the next morning there was approximately 6+ inches of snow and it lasted till last night.

Apparently it the most snowfall ever seen in London for 18 years.

Everything was covered with snow. That brought major disruptions all over London with all public transport made unavailable. Even the underground tubes were closed. Weird because its not snowing underground so why was the underground tubes closed?! For some it literally took them 2-3 hours to get to their offices and for others was lucky enough to get the phone call to tell them not to bother to get into the office. :) I was one of the later so I took my chance to venture out and take some snaps.

More photos are all posted up on Picasa so check it out here. :)
